The formation of silver nanoparticles was followed by using UV-Visible spectrometry which exhibited the absorption spectrum in a range of 410-460 nm. Infrared spectrum of the synthesized silver nanoparticles revealed the presence of organic residues, suggested the reduing and capping roles of the organic species in Jatropha curcas leaf extract.
