4. Nongalvanised, 9-gauge, chain·link fence 1.8 m wide is then suspended from the top cable on the fill side. The fence is attached at the top and allowed to hang down to the fill level, where it is cut to length, allowing at least 1 rn of the chain link 10 lie on the fill.
5. Three-millimeter in diameter aircraft cable is then used to lace the adjoining lengths of chain link fence together. The cable is also used to attach the chain link to the angle brackets at the sides.
6. Fill material is then placed at the bottom of the fence onto the chain link lying on the fill.
7. Fill material is then dumped, but not pushed, next to the fence as each subsequent l·m-high lift is placed. The fill placed at the fence is always kept higher than the rest of the fill in order to provide a berm to prevent equipment from driving off the edge of the fill.
8. Once the fill has been placed to 1m of the top of the fence, the fill fence construction sequence is begun again.
