The price of the ticket allows for entry to 2 museums, one near to the Otaru canal and one further down the road that is focuses on Trains.
Interesting to learn about the history of Otaru being the Wall Street of Hokkaido and also the scale of commercial fishing.
I especially enjoyed the train museum as it traces the history of railway in Hokkaido and the impact of this transportation in developing the island.
There's also a very well maintained train hundreds of year old right in the middle of the entrance.
Do not miss the outdoor exhibits as the various generations of trains are on display as well.
