The health needs of the larger society include such additional conditions as peace, safety, social justice, respect for human rights, respect for women's rights, and fairness in general.
Poverty is probably the greatest threat to good healthcare. Health maintenance must become an activity that involves the entire society government, business and industry, the healthcare system, the media, schools, communities and individual families. These groups must work together to ensure that nutritious food, clean water, decent housing, good schools, and proper health care are accessible to all. When these basic elements are available, people will be able to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Section 3 Lecturer: Health promotion is a global issue and basic health promotion strategies must be adapted to meet the unique cultural climate in various countries, and in different regions and communities within each country. The goal is to create conditions that allow each individual to achieve and maintain good health. The World Health Organization and other international organizations are hard at work around the world.
