Hi mommy. I know I talked to you on the phone yesterday and told you things were ok but today is a new day and things are terrible. Please try not to worry with what I am about to tell you because I'm trying my very best to stay strong.

Daddy got into a car accident early this morning (Tuesday 12/21/10 around 4am). I don't have too many details on it because he doesn't remember what happened and I haven't been able to reach the deputy that reported to the scene. I was getting ready for work this morning when Connie called and told me that the police came to the apartment around 6am and told her about dad being in the hospital. I want you to know that there are no big injuries to him except that his chest hurts (the doctor thinks he may have hit it on the steerling wheel). His memory is REALLY bad though. I met up with Randy at the hospital to take dad home after he had some tests done and he couldn't remember what happened, why his chest hurt, and where his cellphone was.

I was very scared when I heard all of this so I'm sure you're worried as well. Connie, Randy, and I have been looking after him today. Just so you know, the BMW is totaled. I went to the towing company to get all his stuff out of his car. I took pictures of the car with my phone that I can send if you want to see. Since the car cannot be fixed, I'm trying to just give the title of the car to the towing company so they can get rid of it. It was $122 to tow and it's $30/day to keep it there and I don't have money for that. If I give them the car, I won't get any fees and I really don't think he needs that car anyway.

I'm telling you all of this because I love you and I want you to know what's going on. Like I said, we're trying to get this all situated. The problem is, dad doesn't know where his pink slip for the BMW is and I need it to transfer the title which MUST be done by Thursday. Also, I cannot find insurance for that car and I'm worried other people were involved and maybe hurt (the cop told Connie that dad hit another car and it flew 40ft). All of this just seems like too much for me to handle sometimes..

My work let me take today off to take care of things and I'm trying to do as much as I can but at the same time, I'm so tired. Randy started work today so I took dad back to the apt so he could go shower and get ready and have enough time to leave and get there on time. Connie left work really early too so she could help watch daddy with me so that's been helpful.


I don't think dad wanted me to tell you what happened but I barely get to talk to you and Randy thought I should keep you informed. I will try to call you when I get the chance to use a regular phone. I miss you. I try to stay patient with daddy because I know he can't control his memory loss.. He talks in circles and sometimes can't even finish sentences.

Please tell me what you think I should do. I feel like I'm gonna go crazy one of these days. I love you.
