Exercise Training, QOL and Asthma Control
Following training, the improvements in all domains
of the AQLQ exceeded the threshold for a clinically important
change. Relative to the control group, improvements
in the symptom and activity limitation domains of
the AQLQ were seen in the exercise group both immediately
following training and at the 3-month follow-up.
These findings indicate that exercise training was associated
with a reduction in symptoms and an improved ability
to undertake physical activities in daily life.
