Jinri had just gotten used to this routine over time. It was redundant, planned, rehearsed and dull, but it was far better than knowing your Schedule and crossing out the number of days where you can still live. More Alternatives out there experienced worse mornings than her, and with that she has no right to complain. She's still a lucky Alternative after her twelve years of stay after all.
A beep from the clock broke Jinri out of her thoughts. From the slot, a long, white piece of paper with three columns entitled 'Time', 'Activity' and 'Venue' printed on top of the columns respectively slowly made its way out of the thin opening. Katherine's voice was back.
"I had processed your agenda, Jinri. Please get your timetable from the slot. Have a nice day."
"Thank you Katherine." Jinri grunted, pulling it out and staring at her agenda:
6:15 a.m.| Bath time| 2nd floor, West wing, A7
7:00 a.m.| Dentist| 5th floor, East wing, B12
7:30 a.m.| Breakfast| Ground floor, East wing
8:15 a.m.| Level 3 Anatomy| 1st floor, North wing, A1
...and the list goes on until nighttime.
