Table 1 shows the characteristics of mothers and children.
In age demographics, mothers were 33.39 ± 4.9 years old (mean ± SD). 28 of mothers were in their 20s,
72 and were in their 30s, 15 were in their 40s. 96 of mothers were housewife and 19 of mothers were employee.
Children were 7.9 ± 2.8 years old (mean ± SD). Boys accounted 81 for of the total and girls accounted 31.
Rehabilitation duration of children was 23.8 ± 16.04 months (mean ± SD).
Multiple regression analysis was performed using the scores of FES as objective variables and participant
characteristics and other possible relevant factors as explanatory variables.
“Empowerment” of family significantly decreased with short period of rehabilitation of child (sb =2.17,
P=0.003), and low education degree of mother (sb = 2.9, P=.000).
