3.3. Modeling the energy supply system
The simulation module is based on hourly time interval analysis
of energy demand, wind speed, temperature and total solar irradiation.
In fact, the simulation module will be applied to calculate
the hourly energy generated by using the hourly wind velocity,
total radiation on the horizontal surface, and temperature. The
simulation model consists of 12 subcomponents which calculate
the energy generated by different renewable and non-renewable
energy convertors for every hour, see Fig. 4. The matching module,
compare the supply section with demand and calculate the
RER, LLP, yearly required NG and gasoline, yearly bought and sold
electricity to the grid. The following section presents the mathematical
models of renewable energy components which are used in
the simulation module.
