None of the previous calls made deputies believe Sheats would hurt anyone other than herself, the sheriff said.
'Please don't shoot my family'
The 911 calls paint a chilling picture of what happened inside and outside the family's home that day. The first call, placed by Madison Sheats, begins with her mother shouting.
"I told you ...," she says, before a man's voice can be heard shouting, "Please forgive me, I'm sorry."
Jason, Madison and Taylor Sheats are all heard frantically apologizing to Christy Sheats and begging her not to shoot.
"Wait...please don't shoot," one of the girls says.
"Don't do it. Please don't do it," says another.
After several more seconds of screaming, crying, and pleading, Jason Sheats can be heard begging. "I'll do anything you ask," he screams. "Please don't point the gun at us."
A few moments later, he tells his wife, "I promise you, whatever you want, I'll...." and the call ends abruptly.
The next call, which came from Taylor's phone, captures some of the same moments, but is largely unintelligible.
