Most related to our research, the Galaxy S4 has what is known as the Dual Shot function, where a video is captured by simultaneously shooting with both the front and rear cameras. Using this function, video shooters can capture videos together with footage of their own face. Cui et al. [1] used video footage of the user’s facial expression recorded with the smartphone’s front camera to present the emotional state of the user who looked at photos shared by other users. This is similar to o our concept of capturing a video with the shooters’ physiological signals to indicate their emotional state. However, we used SCL signals that are harder to recognize than facial expressions in daily life.
