Dads memorial
How can one ever accept the loss of a parent. My fathers death was imminent and coming soon, we all knew this, but no amount of time would have ever prepared me for the moment my mother called me early in the morning and said "dad's gone"
There just aren't words to describe what my dad meant to me. Yes he was a loving father, but how can these words describe all fishing trips he took me on, high school bb games he left work to attend, golf tournaments etc...
Thankfully happiness for my dad was always bringing happiness to our family. I can only hope to carry on this legacy
Before my dad died, he told me not to be upset. "I had a wonderful life" don't worry about me. he said my father was always putting his family first and that he did
My dad couldn't help but make friends wherever he went
Sandwich in the door. My dad although never much of a mechanic, was always good at improvising. A story I remember throughout my life was when he and mom were young and dating
Dad got me my first job picking up golf balls at the driving range I Aberdeen
I was so proud of my dad when I was young. He was a store mgr for albertsons and always walked around the store in his company gold jacket
