However, the peak positions of the carrageenan/clay mineral
composite and carrageenan/AgNP/clay mineral composite films
were not changed compared with that of the neat clay mineral powder
as observed in the XRD patterns (Fig. 3b),which indicates that the original
interlayer spacing (d-spacing) of the clay mineral (1.86 nm) has not
been changed by compositing with carrageenan and AgNPs.
