The amino acid content of test ingredients is presented in Table 4. The three highest concentrations were Arg, Leu, and Lys in decreasing order in all ingredients. Of the sulfur amino acids, Met in squid meal (3.34%) and Met and Cys in FSPC
(1.58 and 0.77%) were found in high concentrations. These amino acids were relatively similar among fish meals A, B, and C (Met 1.33–1.21% and Cys 0.50–0.48%); FMD, SHM, and RCM had lower amounts of these amino acids (Met 0.95–0.72 and Cys 0.42–0.32%).
