The objectives of this research were to : 1) Develop Mathematics learning activities based on Learning Cycle Model (7Es) Emphasizing higher order thinking on Equation and Solving Equation for Prathomsuksa 6 , 2) develop students’ Mathematics learning achievement to meet the criteria of not less than 70 percent of students can gain achievement score of 70 percent and higher, and 3) study the students ’higher order thinking skills of students. The target group consisted of twenty-six grade VI students from Ban Sapanyaow School. This study is an action research conducted in three cycles.. The tools used in this research were classified into three categories : 1) The Experimental tool. 2) The tools used to reflect the action research. 3) The tools used for evaluating effectiveness of learning activities, and summarized report in descriptive manner. Research findings were as follows: The students gained the average learning achievement scores at 80.08 percent. There were 85.00 percent of students who passed the specified criteria so the findings complied with the set- criteria. The students in each group showed the average scores of creative and critical thinking ability at 89.4 percent. It can be concluded that the students had ability in creative and critical thinking and were able to apply the gained knowledge to construct new knowledge on their own. The individual student gained the average scores of solving problem creatively and critically at 81.41 percent. It can be concluded that the students had ability in solving problem creatively and critically and were able to apply the gained knowledge to solve the problem.
