different values of Qþ (i.e., 0.06 and 3). The larger value of Qþ (i.e.,
Qþ ¼3) is typical of an impulse turbine, while the smaller value (i.e.,
Qþ ¼ 0.06) corresponds to that of a reaction turbine. Note in Figs. 5
and 6 that relative power is increased when b is reduced and vice
versa
