Results
The cohort consisted of 1365 patients with an age
distribution as shown in Figure 1. The median age
was 16 years and the 25 and 75% percentiles were
5 and 28 years, respectively. Minimum and maximum
ages were 0 and 89 years. Indication for haemostasis
operation was found in 47 (3.4%, 95% confidence
interval (CI), 2.6–4.6%), 20 of whom were diagnosed
at the hospital within 8 h after the operation
