FEARLESS ANCHOR MAN SHOUTS TRUTH
Bangkok, Thailand- Natthakorn Devakula aka “Khun Pleum,” a former Bangkok Post reporter and columnist reminded us that in 2011, the television show called “Daily Dose.” The show that he is hosting, he made lists of suggestions that Yingluck Shinawatra should proceed if eventually she became Thailand Prime Minister. One of those bold suggestions were to get rid of the current Thailand army general, Prayut Chan-o-cha.
The General of course was displeased about Khun Pleum’s comment and castigate him for his bluntness.
At the FCCT conference held at Maneeya Center Building, Natthakorn Devakula and Songkran Grachangnetara both were sharing some harsh truth about the current Thailand Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha. Some comments and opinions are already obvious but the reason they’re both bravely clarified these unpopular comments in the conference is because they want to make a statement. They want to strangle Thailand’s neck, make people rise up to the real truth, so that the whole country could walk in the same path.
The majority of Thai people would look up to the General Prayut as a strong leader, fighting for peace and to elevate Thailand, but every man has his own masks and secrets.
“We can compared Prayut’s action to Donald Trump, he yells at the reporter. He ‘yell’ away to anyone who tries to disagree with him”, said Khun Pleum.
Is that what a leader supposed to do? The real leader should bravely listened to every comment about him or his actions, even though it’s meant to discredit him and boldly replied to the comment with confidence. That’s the type of leader Thai people need, not want. There’s some interesting statement from the conference, which is ‘No justice is delivered to those who commit crime, and innocent people are being punished.’
“Corrupted government roams freely around the country, innocent people are put in jail,” said Khun Pluem.
After the coup in 2006, Thailand is turning from a democratic country to a dictatorship. The freedom of speech has disappeared and due to increasing numbers of senator being chosen. Not so long until General Prayut gained 100% control over the government. If that happens, it is simply to say that Thailand will turn however General Prayut sees fit.
Referring to the economic downfall issue, Khun Pleum states that Prayut is trying to run away from the responsibilities and he will find a way to blame anyone for it. This is no small issues, the decreasing of economic in Thailand has an impact to everyone and to every business in Thailand. The problem should be fixed one way or another as soon as possible.
The last issue is about Thailand’s education, it seems like Thailand keep feeding the youngster the wrong information. This is a serious issue because children will believe and remember everything they are being taught, Khun Pleum states that ‘it is time to stop this madness for our future generation.’
Finally, Khun Pleum want to referred that if Yingluck Shinawatra had listened to him back then, none of this would happened, simply he wanted to say ‘I told you so’ to the former female PM of Thailand.
“The red shirt might be keeping quiet for now, but they live life with dignity and honor. They are waiting for the right moment to strike,” said Khun Pluem.
