Exec critical in train crash
A Japanese man was critically injured when he was hit by a train and fell five metres from the bridge on the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi yesterday.
Haruhinsa Saito, 52, is being treated in a local hospital for broken ribs and head injuries.
Mr. Saito, chairman of the Chon Buribased Thai Silvec, an anodizing and plating company, had take the company’s employees on an excursion to the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi for the long weekend.
