It can be easily seen from ANOVA table that all the main
factor effects, namely, material and lubricant types and deformation
speed, are important in determining the deformation load
of plasticine and are significant at 1 percent level. All three variables
have positive main effects, i.e., moving from low level
to high level in factors increases the deformation load. These
main-factor effects are plotted in Fig. 5. One of the two-factor
interactions, namely, material×lubricant is also significant at
1% level as seen in ANOVA table. Fig. 6 shows the two-factor
interaction effects.
