A patch antenna (Rectangular Microstrip Antenna) is a
popular antenna type, which has proved its worth in
compactness and its ifficiency. Its name is given to the fact
that it consists of a single metal patch suspended over a
ground plane [1]. The assembly is usually placed inside a
plastic radome, which protects the antenna structure from
damage. Patch antennas are fabricated easily . These are the
original microstrip antenna, which have a length of
microstrip transmission line of approximately one-half
wavelength. The radiation process arises from
discontinuities at each truncated edge of the microstrip
transmission line [2]. The antenna becomes slightly larger
than its physical dimension due to The radiation at the
edges. For obtaining the resonant condition at the antenna
driving point, a shorter than a one-half wavelength section
of microstrip transmission line is used. A patch antenna is
designed on a dielectric substrate, employing the same sort
of lithographic patterning used to fabricate printed circuit
boards
