Since successful implementation of TTM is an important
component of post-arrest care, we sought to critically
evaluate potential barriers as described by motivated
practitioners and assess methods to improve TTM adoption.
We hypothesized that lack of education and training are more
crucial barriers to TTM implementation than other described
challenges such as lack of institutional leadership support or
physician acceptance, and that an intensive, structured
educational intervention might increase TTM uptake and
improve utilization following CA.
