n recent years, a tremendous advancement has taken place in the development of conducting polymers due to their
interesting chemical, physical and electrical properties [1]. Among the conducting polymers, polythiophene (PT) and its
derivatives have been studied extensively [2,3]. PT show excellent electrochemical, electrochromic, luminescent and shielding properties, as the conjugated back bone provides a platform for a wide range of technologies such as LED, FET,
Supercapacitors and solar cells [4–8]. There are several routes for the synthesis of PT like electrochemical and chemical
method. But chemical oxidation polymerization is the generic method for the polymerization of polythiophene because of
its high yield [9]. The pristine PT is restricted to use in commercial application due to some of its property. By combining the
properties of inorganic materials with the conducting polymer, we obtain a new knowledge based nano and micro structured
materials. They provide a new performance making them as interesting functional hybrid materials with novel mechanical,
electronic and chemical properties [10–12]. The combination of PT with nano and micro metal particles were prepared with
an anticipation which may overcome the fundamental shortcomings of pure PT. The composite materials properties such
as environmental stability, process ability, mechanical and electrical properties can be greatly improved. The PT and its
composites have been widely used as gas sensor, electrode materials and photovoltaic etc.ฉันรักแปล
