Former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Sunday asked the National Council for Peace and Order to allow people to voice their opinions.
In doing so, she said, the NCPO would get a wider range of ideas from people in all sectors of society.
Ms Yingluck was commenting on the NCPO's summoning of people who voice different opinions from it for attitude adjustment sessions for a period of seven days.
Those summoned include former energy minister Pichai Naripthaphan from the Yingluck government and Karoon Hosakul, a former Pheu Thai MP for Bangkok.
