Morphological studies were carried out using a Leo scanning electron microscope, model VP 1450, manufactured by Leo Co., Ltd., Cambridge, UK. The molded samples of the thermoplastic elastomer were cryogenically cracked in liquid nitrogen to avoid any possibility of phase deformation. The HDPE phase was preferentially extracted by dissolving the fractured surface in hot xylene. The specimens were then dried in a vacuum oven at 40 °C for 3 h. The dried surfaces were later gold-coated and examined by scanning electron microscopy.
