Present study explains the implication of anemone
locomotion on the courtship and spawning success of
the residents. Mitchell (2003) suggests that mobility of
sea anemone is not self-directed but perhaps the current
sweep detaches them. Consequence of host mobility might
facilitate settlers to host–host migration (Mitchell, 2003).
However, anemone movement occurs very often in captivity
and no secondary host provided for resident migration,
which possibly affects their spawning period and clutch
maturations.
