other proceeds on the lateral scale. From under the ventral rim of this last scale appears a broad membrane
that covers the upper rim of the gill cover and the upper cheek plate. The lower jaw is rather strong and its
tip is provided with a membrane that ends in two barbels, which have a length equal to snout length.
