I come from mental institution called San Francisco. There is an escapee on the loose. Don't tell....shh ;)
I live near UC Berkeley and fall asleep at night while looking out at the San Francisco's skyline from by bedroom window and it puts me to sleep and reminds me a little of the Starry Night painting by Van Gogh . Sometimes I will wake up and stare into an empty refrigerator at night as I will go downstairs and realize starting into my fridge that meaning can be found in just about anything if you are paying attention. I like to hunt for wild mushrooms in the forest in the winter and like finding plastic bubble packaging that needs to be popped. I often miss living in Sweden but my only criticism is Stockholm is a tough crowd for comedians, I think comics in Stockholm all go on government subsidies to prevent starvation and homelessness.
I love and appreciate different styles of art and handcrafted things. I feel very compassionate towards animals, I hate to see mistreated animals which is something that makes me sad when I see that traveling. I am inspired by people who express themselves through art, poetry, goofiness, humor and bowling. I am really impressed with people who learn foreign languages, particularly those languages that are so different than their own native language; like playing music live, it takes a combination of dedication, intelligence, passion and courage....and you will automatically have my respect and support. By the way, yes, I am 34-37 in my photos Ok? hello.
I travel internationally periodically and looking to meet friends abroad. I am friendly, humble, honest and a Gentleman with a bit of an innocent wild side if provoked. For example, thanks to Spotify and wireless Bose Speakers, I once danced to "Ice-Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice in front of Masai Warriors in remote Kenya, I have the ability to go overboard for the sake of a laugh (can check that one off my totally insane bucket list)... I've always been interested in different cultures and perspectives and the more I travel, the more I realize that humor, music and food is the common equalizer...The last thing I ever want is to be like so many people; confined to criticism of others because of their pre-scripted and socially constructed comfort zones .
I go to Europe at least once a year and used to go to school in Germany and worked in Sweden. I would like to practice some Swedish and German in exchange for practicing your English.
Currently I am planning to travel to Eastern Europe in late September and October, visiting Ukraine and Poland.
