taxonomic richness and total abundance of macrofauna to a large
extent (Table 5). These variables do not necessarily require laboratory facilities, but still demand a fair level of technical capacity.
Overall, we note that the GISQ was more strongly influenced by
soil physical and chemical parameters and less by macrofauna and
morphology (Table 5).
