Cruz et al. (2013) studied the rheology of kaolinite and bentonite
suspensions and found a same way by which kaolinite and bentonite
concentrations affected the rheogram and apparent viscosity
of suspensions. Apparently, in this current study where clay minerals
were mixed with the clean ore, the particle interactions of clay
minerals are the driving forces for changes in pulp rheology. However,
it is worth mentioning that the likely interactions between
clay minerals and other minerals in the clean ore may also affect
the rheological behaviour, which is under investigation
