-Policy and plan formulation is where the data gathered in the previous stage is used to establish the various options or development scenarios available for tourism also involves the drafting of a development plan with tourism policy options.
- Consideration of Recommendation is where the full tourism plan is then prepared and forwarded to the planning committee of the public agency responsible for the process.
- Implementation and monitoring is when the plan is put into action which is normally seen as an ongoing process by the planning team.
- The periodic review refers to the process of reporting back on the progress once the plan has run its course and been implemented.
