The bandwidth is determined by the characteristics of the
matching line if the LC resonance is avoided by ensuring
that the Zother value is - 0 R. The calculated Vout - fcar
values for 50 R-matched (ZOut = 50+jO R) and 1
WZ-matched (Z, = Ik+jO R) heads are shown in Fig. 7 (a)
and (b). The solid and dotted lines reprqsent the single and
the Wagner type [Ill of double A/4 matching lines,
respectively. zo[her. was set at 0 R, and other calculation
conditions were similar to those in Fig. 6. 3 dB bandwidths
of > 100 MHz can be easily obtained using the single A/4
matching line in the 50 S2 -matched head and the double W4
matching line in the 1 WZ -matched head.
