The results also indicate that 0.83 g/100 ml aqueous solution of
hydrolysed stevioside (Hyd. ST) 2 was equivalent to 10% sucrose,
indicating 12 times more potency than sucrose. ST-GL at concentration
of 0.15% had equal sweetness to a 10% sucrose solution,
indicating 67 times more potency than sucrose. Also the results
indicate that the 0.09% aqueous solution of ST-AL was equivalent
to 10% sucrose, indicating 111 times more potency than sucrose.
The sweetness potency of all sweeteners decreased as the level
of sweetener increased.
