Supervise detection team in order to provide all necessary supports to Security Units to United States Government (USG) – US Consulate general Chiang Mai to protect employees and family members. Co-ordinate with Government Units and private agents using organization and observation skills to determine and take immediate and appropriate actions. Reporting facts and logical incidents using electronics devices and manpower to identify suspicious activities in order to prevent further damage to personnel and destruction of US property.
To observe, detect and report potential acts of hostile surveillance against US Consulate general Chiang Mai facilities and personnel.
Perform rotating shift work schedule primary on field gather data and information on safety and security matters, using digital camera, CCTV system and mobile telephone technology.
Identifies suspicious activity and develops information in order to make a preliminary analysis of its significance. Engages in close observation to identify and register surveillance operations on USG facilities, employees, family members, and residences and report to Surveillance Detection Coordinator and/ or higher level: Senior Regional Security Officer.
Conduct advance security surveillance operations as delegated by the ARSO and immediate supervisor on assigned area.
Initiates emergency responses to possible hostile actions as necessary.
Provide managerial verbal and written reports as well as reviews the SD Specialists’ reports prior submit the completeness and accuracy information to immediate supervisor.
Responsible on data entry and maintain surveillance records and/or perform data entry into software applications for SD team.
Provides other surveillance services as assigned.
