Summary responsibilities:
• Day to day supervision of school cleaners (Maids).
• Ensure safe storage of materials and equipment
• Ensure adequate materials, equipment and personnel are available to develop and maintain high quality cleaning service.
• Deploy staff as required at peak times.
• Develop professionalism within the team
• Manage the team of Maids to develop and maintain a high quality cleaning service.
• Raise expectations of cleaning staff
• Liaise with academic staff to ensure that their requirements are understood and delivered
• Managing material/equipment stocks. Prepare requisitions for ordering as required
• Introduce systems and protocols to cover all situations and ensure accountability of individual team members
• Any other duties as reasonably required
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
Knowledge and Key skills required:
• Ability to write, implement and maintain cleaning schedules in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions
• High Expectations based on international standards
• Excellent understanding of a school environment and the unique needs
• Organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Graduate Hospitality industry
• Supervisory experience in either International school, hotel or hospital
• Experience and understanding of Health & Safety and Security
