The modeling, simulation and optimi

The modeling, simulation and optimization of the reactive distillation esterification reaction was simulated using a RadFrac packed column. The RadFrac packed column is used to simulate absorption, stripping, extractive distillation, azeotropic distillation with highly non-ideal liquid solutions and for distillation with on-going chemical reactions. Since reactive distillation involves simultaneous distillation and reaction steps, the RadFrac column has been utilized.
