Money is not the only measure of success in life
For most people in our modern-capitalism world, money is the first thing, and sometimes the only thing that measures success in their life. Money can buy power. Money can buy fame. Money can buy time. Sometimes money can even buy a life. So money has become the first common goal for everybody. However, there is something else that can be the measurement of success in life.
The way people deal with money is changing with time. There are more resources than ever to help in handling money. Some people adapt to and utilize these new tools, but others have a hard time understanding them.
Our world is primarily based around money. How you view the money in your life affects your lifestyle, what you will do with that money and how you will supervise it. Making sure you are given the tools and knowledge as to manage your money will help you to manage your whole life and make better decisions. Interviewing my mom has taught me the different ways that money can impact your life.
There are many things in our society that influence a person’s lifestyle, some that are bad and some that are good. Money, however, has both of these effects. It can have the most extreme effect of both sides on a person’s life.
There are also bad effects of being wealthy. Money is the “true agent of divorce as well as the true binding agent.” It turns people into things they are not, giving bad qualities to those who possess too much. One becomes addicted to the fact of having wealth and misuses it to a great extent. It is almost like an addiction, it becomes a job to use money, and therefore one leaves out all the important things in life. In a sense, one may become evil because of the trance money has put on oneself. By not possessing too much wealth, a person is allowed to become his true self without having the temptations of money. If we have no money then we do not have needs for all that we would with money.
“In order to sell more cheaply without ruining himself, he must produce more cheaply, that is, raise the productive power of labor as much as possible.” When the division of labor increases, labor is simplified.
And because of money many people ruining their lives to have a money. We are moving now with money. Some people doing any bad things to have a money.Money affects to our life, without it we cannot eat and we cannot buy things we want in our lives. We cannot schooling now without the use of money. So that some people are hard working for their needs with the use of money.
The common goal in people’s life is to be peaceful and happy. Being the richest man in the world does not mean you are the happiest man in the world, although money can buy you happiness sometimes, but not always. So another measurement of success you are in your is how happy your life is. It might be having a warm family and children, having lots of friends or maybe just having someone who truly loves you.
What you are taught about money and how to utilize it affects what you will do with your money. If you are taught the correct ways to use your money and how to manage it you are better off. My mom learned most of her money skills from her parents. They gave her a foundation for money management. She could take these skills and use them to her own advantage. She also took accounting classes in high school which helped too. She says that she should have used more of what she was taught and put it into her own life. The principals of money management stay the same but from the time my mom was growing up to now technology has made a huge impact on how we manage money today. You also have more options and opportunity to make money. Technology, like computer programs for tracking your money or making projections was not available to her growing up. This generation learning it now.
