KIs provided information on issues such as (a) the social/cultural context (e.g. (un)acceptable practices) within which psychoactive substance use (including alcohol use) and sexual behaviour occurred in the target population; (b) the status of knowledge, attitudes and practices concerning health-compromising (risky) behaviour; and (c) the status of intervention measures within the target population. In each project country approximately 10 KIs were to be recruited.
