One of the best known operators of cruises in the South Pacific is throwing in free spa time with new bookings.
Paul Gauguin Cruises says passengers who reserve a 2014 voyage on the Tahiti-based Paul Gauguin by Feb. 15 will receive a $200 per cabin credit at the ship's Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm as well as a box of chocolates and a bottle of sparkling wine.
Built in 1997, the 332-passenger Paul Gauguin underwent a major, $7 million overhaul in 2012 that brought new interior and exterior areas. It sails year-round out of Tahiti to such South Pacific islands as Bora Bora and Moorea.
