Osburn (1914) found that in 82 days travel, the net distance
covered by Sagartia leucolena was 13.5% of the gross, and that its movement, as well as that of Metridium senile
was sporadic and apparently undirected. Likewise, movement
of E. prolifera was also apparently random on its path
(Dunn, 1977). Presently mobility of S. haddoni was also
found as uncertain on its way. However, the net distance covered (24.99% of the gross) indicates that S. haddoni is
able to cover more distance than S. leucolena and M. senile.
