Mr Suchart hands the camera back to its owner.
Mr Suchart said that he picked up a family of four New Zealanders yesterday around 11am from the Aquamarine Resort & Villa in Kamala and took them to the Jungceylon mall in Patong.
The camera’s owner, Richard Auimatapi, had not realised that he had dropped the camera in the cab until hotel staff called and sai that Mr Suchart had arrived to hand it back to him.
“I am glad and proud to make this tourist happy,” Mr Suchart said after handing over the camera.
“I believe that if this were to happen to other Thais, they would do the same, because I have seen many taxi drivers return belongings back to their owners, no matter how valuable they are.”
