I work for a local English-language media outlet and I'm looking to get a first hand account of the street racing that goes down here in Bangkok. I'd like to make a documentary-style short about it. Not about the problems of it, but more about the thrilling side of it, about hte exciting part of it.
I have a professional camera guy, and myself. We'd like to ride along with you and your friends and just talk about what goes on in the street racing scene and maybe go for a few runs.
How did people get into it? What is the most exciting part about it?
I've been to a few of the races at Kaset Nawamin road, where everyone meets up at the McDonalds and does a few runs on that strip on Nawamin. I'd like to go back, but just don't know when these races are going down--when I go back I want to professionally film it all.
It doesnt matter if you cant speak English, I'd still love for someone to take me out. I can speak a little Thai, but it wont stop me--I still want to know when the racing goes down.
So please PM me if you can help me out, or post here if there is a regular time and meet up spot that you can fill me in on.
Thanks a lot!
