Abstract
One of the richest sauropod site in Thailand is the Phu Kum Khao locality in Kalasin province. More than 600 specimens were discovered and they consist of well preserved, partly articulated skeletons of several sauropod individuals. Most of them belong to Phuwiangosaurus sirindhornae. Thus the second sauropod species (taxon B) has been noticed. The objective of this study is to digitize the specimens of possible sauropod taxon B in order to construct 3D morphology model of a sauropod taxon B. The 3D laser scanner detects the surface and texture of the original Fossil and deliver it as raw digital data. Using the design software Rapidform® XOS3TMSP1we then aligned and merged it into a single 3D model. The morphological characters can be observed on the 3D model
