The close relationship between representation and inscription is clearly apparent in the drafting of these two ritual scenes , of which the hieroglyphs form an essential part.Plate 13,a fine example of sunk relief, depicts Senwosret running before Min,the well modelled musculature of the striding king and his vigorous, though stylised ,action being in marked contrast to the stiff attitude of the god.
