Responsible for the development of QBE’s Product Protection Thailand strategy and business plan to support delivery of business targets.
Monitor and report on the progress of new and existing clients, to ensure they are on target and any deviations from the plan are identified and solutions implemented.
Recommend the resources needed to deliver the business plan to ensure successful achievement of business objectives.
Set up and provide training programs to dealers for new project and refresher training for current project.
Aid in the formulation of the portfolio’s distribution and operational strategy to include planning and implementation of sales and marketing plan.
Positively promote the Portfolio and company as a whole, in order to maximise business opportunities.
Undertake the production of new and existing business presentational and marketing material to assist with the continuous development of opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, brokers, business partners and colleagues to support constructive, mutually beneficial relationships, and to ensure that services provided continually adapt to the changing needs of the business.
Understand the Portfolio’s target market through regular contact with customers and market research in order to effectively develop insurance products and services to meet their needs.
Keep abreast of market dynamics and demonstrate awareness to be able to operate effectively and appropriately.
Utilise the escalation process where necessary in order to ensure any issues/problems are resolved promptly.
Manage, service and review the Thailand PP portfolio to ensure progress toward business plan objectives.
Develop the portfolio in line with plan, and in conjunction with the Business Manager and underwriting team ensure retention and acquisition of desired business.
Undertake product and / or sales training to business partners.
Ensure all POS and presentation material is accurate, compliant and available for the relevant distribution channel.
Maintaining system set up and parameters such as new dealers and programs,part price list, labour costs, dealer variable premiums, etc.
Assist the Business Manager and Regional Claims Manager with the monitoring of loss ratio’s for all schemes locally and propose performance rectification measures.
Direct management of the business support team.
