There are artists who create vivid works of art using canvases and paint. Then, there are artists out there who make nano sculptures using 3D-printing technology.
One nano artist named Jonty Hurwitz made a series of micro-sized sculptures that measured at about the width of a strand of human hair. Some of the sculptures could fit in the eye of a needle.
Shortly after photographing them, Hurwitz’s colleague destroyed the sculptures. Because the sculptures were so small, the colleague couldn’t see them.
According to Daily Mail, the sculptures, which were of a nude woman, were inspired by a sculpture created by Antonia Canova in the 18th century called “Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss.”
After gaining inspiration and finding his muse, the entire project took approximately 10 months for Hurwitz to put together.
Approximately 250 cameras were set up in a room to capture every angle of the model Hurwitz worked with.
Ultimately, the nano artist put a lot of time into this project only for it to be completely destroyed by one of his colleagues.
