Time study was applied to evaluate the cycle time for solid waste collection in Uyo by haul container system under ongoing urban development and expansion. Continuous running stop watch method was applied as a novel approach to record elemental activities (task) time for evaluating cycle time in simultaneous developing and expanding municipality. The results showed that cycle time and its activity components times vary with truck, route zone area, week day, and order tripe. Overall cycle per haulage varied in the order of 19.77 min for truck 046 16.95 min for truck 060 16.54 min for truck 053 < 15.39 min for truck 072. Predictive regression model for cycle time correlated very significantly (P
