When you receive an order, you should acknowledge it immediately.
Acknowledging an order helps you confirm your customer that the order has been received and provides you with an excellent opportunity to establish goodwill.
An order acknowledgement usually contains specific information. It also lets the customer know what is being done about the order. This can be done by letter, fax, or email.
The body of an order acknowledgement generally has three parts:
-opening
-giving information
-closing
