In this work the following scenario is supposed. There is an individual interested in constructing a false digital alibi,
called Alibi Maker (AM), who can leverage his personal computer, called Target System (TS), in order to accomplish
this task. After the digital alibi is forged, the TS is subject to a post-mortem analysis performed by a group of Digital
Forensic Analysts (DFA), in charge of extracting any useful information supporting, or invalidating, the digital alibi. This
paper focuses on the specific case where the TS is a common personal computer. One of the main objective of this work is
to prove that also a non-skilled individual would be able to construct a false digital alibi.
