ultrasound of upper abdomen;
history: r/o cirrhosis and gallstone.
findings:the study reveals nomal size, smooth surface with mild homogeneous increase parenchymal echogenicity of liver without definite space taking mass, suggestive of mild fatty liver or liver parenchymal disease. no biliary system dilatation is seen. visualized portal vein and hepatic veins appear patent.
gallbladder show smooth thin wall without gallstone.
visualized pancreas and spleen appear unremarkable.
both kidneys show normal size, shape, axis and normal echo without definite renal stone or hydronephrosis.
no ascites or significant gross paraaortic lymphadenopathy is noted.
impression:
- mild fatty liver or liver parenchymal disease.
- no detected gallstone.
